Privacy Policy

Camera Monitor does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal data. There are no analytics, no advertising, no user accounts and no third-party services.

Video never leaves your local network. The live camera feed is transmitted directly from your camera device to your monitor device over your local Wi-Fi network or a direct peer-to-peer connection. Nothing is sent to any server.

Photos you take are saved only to the photo library of the camera device. The app requests “add photos” permission solely for this purpose.

Permissions used

Camera — to capture the video that is streamed to your monitor device.
Local Network — to discover and connect your devices to each other.
Photo Library (add only) — to save the photos you take.

Connection password

An optional connection password can be set on the camera device. It is stored only on that device and is never transmitted over the network — a cryptographic challenge-response handshake is used instead.
